The founder of Kay Aura is Kidist Girmai, also known as Kay, from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up as a tall girl, she struggled to find clothes that fit well. Most pants or tops were either too short or too big, making it difficult for her to embrace herself through fashion. This inspired her to create Kay Aura, a brand designed to address the struggles many tall individuals face.

Her goal is to provide ethical, sustainable clothing for tall women and men, ensuring comfort and inclusivity for everyday wear. The name Kay Aura reflects her belief that fashion is an essential part of her aura. Kidist is passionate about putting smiles on tall people’s faces and making them feel included in every way possible when it comes to fashion.
